Ingredients:

  • agar-agar powder (0.88 oz or 250 gram), water (7 cups if fruit agar, 8 cups if coconut milk), sugar,
  • lychee juice; fruits: strawberry, peach, nectarine, kiwi, cherry, grapes

How to make fruit agar?

Coconut milk agar:

  1. agar + water = mix
  2. pot + coconut milk = boil + 1 cup sugar = boil
  3. adding (1) into (2) = boil

Fruit agar:

  1. agar + water = mix
  2. pot + water = boil + lychee juice = boil + sugar = boil
  3. adding (1) into (2) = boil

Notes:

  • The less water, agar is harder /the more water, agar is softer.
  • If doing fruit agar, don’t need adding coconut milk
  • 1 coconut milk = 13 oz, so 2 cans = 26 oz around 3 cups
  • 1 chen = 1 cup
  • when making fruit agar, we use less water because there is a plenty of water in fruit can…
